I think that everyone will agree that it is unacceptable that you have to log into your account every few minutes and check for new mail. Instead, Gmail notifier does this for you automatically.

All you need to do is download and install the software. Then, you simply enter your email address and password. That’s it!
I really appreciate the fact that Gmail Notifier is as less disturbing as possible. It appears as a small icon on the computer’s task-bar.
It quietly checks for new messages in the background, without interrupting the user’s work on the computer.
Only when a new message arrives, a small pop-up window appears with the subject, sender and a snippet of the message. This software works great and I will rate it 10!
