Apple iPad 3 4G + WiFi adalah tablet pc generasi ketiga yang resmi diumumkan keberadaanya oleh Apple pada tanggal 07 Maret 2012. Tablet terbaru ini menggunakan OS iOS 5, Chipset Apple A5X, CPU dual core 1 GHz Cortex-A9, GPU PowerVR SGX543MP4, retina display, jaringan 2G, 3G dan 4G.

Walaupun menggunakan kartu MicroSIM untuk jaringan GSM atau CDMA namun tablet baru Apple iPad 3 4G ini tetap tidak mendukung fungsi telepon seperti ponsel. Fungsi kartu SIM hanyalah untuk layanan koneksi internet dengan kecepatan GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, LTE, Rev. A. Untuk yang tanpa SIM card maka pilihannya adalah versi WiFi [Apple iPad 3 WiFi yang harganya lebih murah $130].
